Pressure Cooker Baby Back Ribs with Mississippi Spice Company Pork Blend

Pressure Cooker Baby Back Ribs with Mississippi Spice Company Pork Blend

Ingredients

  • 1 rack baby back pork ribs

  • 3 cups roasted garlic bouillon (or enough to reach bottom of pressure cooker rack)

  • ½ cup favorite BBQ sauce

  • 6 oz Mississippi Spice Company Pork Blend

Instructions

  1. Prep the ribs: Rinse thawed ribs under cool water and pat dry. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs by sliding a butter knife under the edge, then gripping with a paper towel and pulling until fully removed.

  2. Season and pressure cook: Pour 2–3 cups of bouillon into the pressure cooker (just enough to reach the rack). Season ribs generously on both sides with Mississippi Spice Company Pork Blend, then place bone side down into the cooker. Pressure cook on high for 25 minutes.

  3. Handle with care: Once depressurized, carefully remove ribs to a baking sheet. (They will be very tender—use tongs to prevent breaking.)

  4. Smoke for flavor: Sprinkle additional Pork Blend generously over the meat side of the ribs. Place in a preheated smoker at 300°F for 1 hour.

  5. Glaze with BBQ: Brush BBQ sauce over the ribs and continue smoking for another 30 minutes.

  6. Rest and serve: Remove ribs from smoker and let rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!

Pro Tips

  • Sauce options: Use a sweet BBQ sauce for a classic flavor, or try a tangy vinegar-based sauce for a Carolina-style twist.

  • Make it your own: Add wood chips (hickory or applewood) to the smoker for an extra layer of smoky goodness.

  • Serving idea: Pair with cornbread, baked beans, or coleslaw for the ultimate backyard feast.
